Strange
When you think about it
I know, as men, we should talk more when we need to. We need support in this strange and difficult world, hell-bent on changing us, for better or worse. But more often than not, I simply cannot be stuffed. That's one of the funny things about humans, especially men. Quite often, we know what will help us. We don't need a guru, a doctor, or a coach to figure that out. Still, we won't do it anyway. Some strange, invisible stubbornness takes over. The thought comes, floats away. Body stays pinned. By the time you could move, the moment's gone. You don't want to bother them. Your problems feel too small, too large, too much to explain in a text without doing it justice. Three months go by like that. Then a text comes in from the other side. You go to reply. The box is too small. So you call. It's good. Isn't that strange.
If a line stayed with you, I'd love to know which one. And if this belongs to someone else you know, send it their way.
