Welcome to the new subscribers I migrated today after wrapping up my other newsletter, the Matt K. Head Letter.
Let’s get into today’s post for The Meaning Path:
How Can You…
How can you start to relinquish control and trust that the right people will find you where you decide to show up? How can you stop trying to be everywhere all at once? Listen to your body, and it gently whispers which way resembles home. How can you sing in your magnificent voice? That one you have drowned out under layers and layers of mud. How can you flow like all the great rivers do? Stop being so rigid and prickly. Your pigheadedness serves who? How can you serve like all the leaders you love do? Remember, my friend, this is about something bigger than you.
Reflection
Thank you to my dear friend Christian Fleck, who inspired this creative burst with a beautiful “ramble” he left me via voice note (I say ramble affectionately). He provided some welcomed thoughts on:
preserving energy for your most important work,
trust,
and the costs of social media overwhelm.
Here’s a taste:
“If this is a hustle that you don’t want to do, then don’t do it. Because if you do it, you pay a massive opportunity cost because in that time, you could just write on The Meaning Path.”
“But if something’s really not working for you, and you feel like you feel a heaviness, and it’s not fun, and it’s not light, then it doesn’t make any sense.”
“Trust that if you do stuff that excites you, it will attract people. And it’s already attracting people.”
I hope those words encourage you to make some tough decisions you have been avoiding.
thanks for the mention and appreciation mate.
